Hyperkin to relaunch the first Xbox controller with Hall-effect joysticks
, by Quentin
Here's a pretty original development announcement. Hyperkin claims to be working on a modern reissue of the first Xbox controller.
While the exterior design remains quite similar, the controller is expected to incorporate more contemporary enhancements on the inside. According to Hyperkin, it will feature Hall-effect joysticks and be compatible with Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PCs.
It will come with a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For the moment, the product is still in development, as previously indicated and we have no information yet on price or release date.
