Project Tatanka, a Halo battle royale, has reportedly been cancelled

According to quite insistent rumors, Certain Affinity was working on a new Halo. Originally, it was simply to be a battle royale developed under Unreal Engine 5. Over the months, however, the project evolved into something "more".

Alas, insider Shpeshal_Nick now tells us that the title has been cancelled after all. No further details are available at present.

Shpeshal_Nick also reports that a game "that will set the internet on fire" and "cause drama" will soon be coming to Xbox. We'll have to wait to learn more.
