Activision details upcoming update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on January 17

The next mid-season update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will arrive on January 17 at 9am PT, 12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST on all platforms. It will bring a series of new contents for multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone.

In multiplayer, an all-new 6v6 map, called Rio, will make its appearance. In addition, new game modes will be introduced, including Team Gunfight, Headquarters and Infected. Finally, a crossover with The Boys franchise will feature an enhanced version of the confirmed Kill Confirmed mode, inspired by the series.

As for Zombies mode, players will be able to obtain high-level loot by defeating the new South Korean Warlord, Dokkaebi.

Finally, Warzone will launch a public event during which the lights of the Gulag will go out, giving rise to Night Vision confrontations.
