Here's how to get The Last of Us Part II PS5 upgrade with the PS4 version

On January 19, The Last of Us Part II will make its grand return to PlayStation 5 with a remaster. Sold at full price to newcomers, it will include several improvements, new cosmetic elements and a roguelike mode.

However, owners of the PS4 version will be able to get this enhanced edition for as little as €10 / $10. This offer is valid for both digital and physical owners.

In the latter case, all you have to do is place the PS4 disc in a PS5 equipped (obviously) with a player. After paying the ten euros or so required, it will be possible to download The Last of Us Part II Remastered in its digital edition, via PlayStation Store. The PS4 Blu-ray will not be required to play the game.
