Future displays with VESA Adaptive-Sync will be able to switch between 4K at 144 Hz and 1080p at 280 Hz

VESA's Adaptive-Sync display technology has just received a major update. It now includes "dual mode", allowing users to switch between resolutions of 4K at 144 Hz and 1080p at 280 Hz.

Future gaming monitors featuring this technology will therefore include this. It's highly likely that some of the screens presented at next week's CES 2024 will already benefit from it.
