Frogwares fully reclaims The Sinking City license

In 2021, the Ukrainian studio accused Nacon of illegally posting a hacked version of The Sinking City on Steam. Frogwares also accused the publisher of trying to appropriate the rights to the license after the game's release.

Nacon allegedly withheld payments and royalties that should have gone to Frogwares. A long legal battle ensued, and the conclusion is now known.

As a result, the development studio has recovered all publishing rights to the franchise. Frogwares says it is "happy to put this behind us"* and looks forward to "sharing more information about the future of the franchise in the near future"*.
