Tim Cain acts as consultant on The Outer Worlds 2

This 2024, Obsidian Entertainment will offer a completely new action-RPG called Avowed. After that, the American studio will turn its attention to the long-awaited The Outer Worlds 2.

This project will probably not be ready for many months yet, but a team is already working on it. We've also learned that Tim Cain, creator of Fallout, is lending his expertise to this sequel.

Although he hasn't been a full-time Obsidian employee since June 2020, Cain is testing each level of The Outer Worlds 2 to give his opinion on the design. He also pays particular attention to the game's humorous tone and lore.
