Ubisoft thwarts hacking attempt on its servers

The last few days may have been marked by the hacking of Insomniac Games, but The American studio wasn't the only one to have its security compromised.
According to a report, Ubisoft also suffered a similar attack on December 20. A hacker invaded the French publisher's servers for 48 hours, with Around 900 GB of data, mainly relating to users of Rainbow Six Siege, at risk.
Fortunately, Ubisoft quickly realized the problem and was able to repel the intrusion. No data was exfiltrated. Quite the happy ending for the publisher.
