PS5 reaches 50 million sales worldwide
, by Thibaut
On December 9, the PlayStation 5 passed the symbolic milestone of 50 million units sold worldwide. Sony announced the news in a press release.
It took the console just over three years to reach this milestone. It should be noted that the PS4 had reached this threshold just a week earlier.
Quite an achievement, given that the PS5 was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, and was repeatedly out of stock.
