Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ubisoft's first $70 game, is already on sale

Released on December 7, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora did not get a great marketing campaign. However, Ubisoft chose to make it its first game to be sold at $70 (or €79.99 in Europe).

A strategy that doesn't seem to have paid off, as the title based on James Cameron's universe is already on a deep discount across the Atlantic. Retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Target are currently offering it for $49.99.

This could be an indicator of the game's potential low sales.
