Rockstar would not release its games simultaneously on consoles and PC for "priority" reasons

When the first trailer for GTA VI was released, there was something on it that caused quite a stir. The much-anticipated sixth game will initially only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

York, a former developer at the studio who worked on GTA V and Red Dead Redemption II, explained why the PC version has been relegated to the background, a practice that has always been the norm with the starry firm.
