After announcing its closure, FNTASTIC seems to have changed its name

On Monday December 11, we learned of the sudden disappearance of FNTASTIC, the studio responsible for the controversial The Day Before. The latter was even withdrawn from sale a few hours later.

While the closure seemed to be a foregone conclusion, a last-minute twist could be on the cards. According to SteamDB, FNTASTIC is now called "Eight Points". In another troubling coincidence, this name had already been used by the studio before it renamed itself... FNTASTIC.

A strange backtracking that casts doubt on the firm's closure. We'll have to wait for a hypothetical statement from the company to find out for sure.
