It's official: E3 is dead and buried
, by Thibaut
Sadly, it was to be expected, but the Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3 for those in the know) will never open its doors again.
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the body responsible for organizing the American show, has just confirmed the news in a press release.
"After more than two decades of hosting an event that has served as a central showcase for the U.S. and global video game industry, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has decided to bring E3 to a close."
E3 2023 was cancelled at the last minute last year, and the event was due to return in force next year. This will not be the case.
