Ed Boon promises "a big surprise" for Mortal Kombat 1 in the not-too-distant future

NetherRealm is set to deliver a big salvo of never-before-seen content for its fighting game. During the CCXP23 event in Brazil, Ed Boon, director of Mortal Kombat 1, spoke about the future of the title.

While he began by saying that Mortal Kombat 1 will be getting "a second part with more story", he also announced that a "big surprise " will arrive right after this DLC. Boon adds that the latest episode will be "supported for even longer than Mortal Kombat 11".
