Twitch to close services in Korea from February 27, 2024 due to bandwidth costs

Popular streaming platform Twitch will cease operations in Korea from February 27, 2024, a decision was prompted by what are seen as exorbitant bandwidth charges in Korea. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said costs were around ten times higher than in other regions.
Dan Clancy said it was a difficult decision and that the team was deeply disappointed to have to make it.
