Sales of Meta Quest 3 Elite Battery Strap suspended due to charging fault
, by Quentin
Meta has announced the suspension of sales of the Quest 3 Elite Battery Strap, a strap with an integrated battery designed to extend the battery life of the Meta Quest 3 because of a problem that appears to be affecting the product, preventing it from recharging properly.
According to company statements, this is due to a problem with the firmware linked to recharging. Meta states that it has launched production of a new batch that resolves the problems that caused the defect.
Although no mass recall is planned, you can contact the place of purchase to initiate replacement procedures.
