MultiVersus falls below 1000 players simultaneously online on Steam

At its launch in July 2022, Warner Bros.' free-to-play fighting game had some success. The title reached a record of 153,433 simultaneous players only on its Steam version. The publisher also announced that over 20 million users downloaded the game.

Unfortunately, MultiVersus' current situation is much more difficult. According to the latest figures recorded by SteamDB, an extremely low peak of 986 simultaneous players was reached this week.

Season 3, which will begin on March 31st, will have to bring significant new content to turn the situation around and prevent MultiVersus from meeting a dire fate.
