According to Activision, Modern Warfare III has broken records for player engagement

Without giving any precise figures, Activision has celebrated the success of its latest FPS. According to the American publisher, Call of Duty: Modern Wafare III* has broken several records for player engagement.

In particular, this third entry is said to have beaten the two previous episodes in the new Modern Warfare trilogy in terms of hours played per person and time spent on the campaign.

Alas, no sales figures have yet been released.
