Amazon lays off 180 people from its gaming division

The layoffs in the video game industry just keep going on a on... This week, Amazon Games announces the departure of more than 180 people.
In an email, vice-president Christoph Hartmann states that "We’ve listened to our customers and we know delivering free games every month is what they want most, so we are refining our Prime benefit to increase our focus there".
A strategy that led to the forced departures mentioned above. Twitch's Crown channel will also be closing its doors.
