Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III some really low first marks

Let's face it, Modern Warfare III is shaping up to be one of the biggest critical failures of Activision's franchise. The first reviews are in, and they're clearly not good.

On Metacritic, the PS5 version of the game received an average score of just 53% (out of 31 reviews). This is the lowest score for an opus in the main saga. Only the PS Vita spin-off, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, did much worse, with 33%. The [OpenCritic] aggregator (https://opencritic.com/game/15396/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-iii) gave the new Call of Duty a score of 55%.

The Metacritic score awarded by users is even less flattering, currently standing at 1.6/10. These averages should be refined over the coming days. We'll come back to them when the final tests are in.
