PS5 now tops 46.5 million units shipped worldwide

This week, Sony's gaming division reported its financial results for the latest quarter and we could learn that the PlayStation 5 has reached 46.5 million units shipped.
An additional 4.9 million machines were shipped during the quarter, which ended on September 30, 2023, which is 48% more than in the same quarter of 2022.
During this second quarter, the Japanese giant's "Games & Services" division generated $6.32 billion in revenues, an increase of 32% year-on-year. Operating profit was $324 million.
