Nintendo denies rumors about its next console

Back in August, rumors were circulating about the Switch 2, with some journalists and insiders even going so far as to say that Nintendo had shown off its future machine during Gamescom, away from prying eyes.
At the time of announcing its financial results for the latest quarter to date, the manufacturer brushed aside this information through its CEO Shuntaro Furukawa. The latter simply declared that the rumors are "false", reiterating the fact that the console has not been shown to industry professionals this year or even in 2022.
