Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is working on a new project

After creating the Final Fantasy franchise, directing the first five and then overseeing every game up to XI, Hironobu Sakaguchi has moved on to new horizons.

In a message posted on X.com, the main man involved indicated that he had visited the temple of Ise Jingu. In the same message, he also mentions a "new project" without saying more.

It remains to be seen whether this is a completely new game or a port of Fantasian, due to arrive shortly on PC.
