In Great Britain, sales of Hogwarts Legacy in its first week were 80% higher than those of Elden Ring

It's a rather telling comparison. GamesIndustry.biz reports that the highly anticipated Hogwarts Legacy dominated sales in the UK last week. Compared to Elden Ring during its first week of release, the Avalanche RPG saw sales that were 80% higher. Finally, still, in the UK, 82% of copies were sold on PS5 compared to 18% on Xbox Series. This is simply the best launch ever for a Harry Potter game.
