Motorsport Games has laid off around 40% of its staff

These days, video game industry news are sadly similar. Motorsport Games, the company behind the NASCAR games, is the latest victim of the wave of redundancies.
In all, 38 of the company's 100 employees have been let go. A source contacted by the Insider Gaming site even went so far as to evoke "the true beginning of the end for the studio".
The employees concerned were each given a 10-15 minute call before being given barely ten minutes to say goodbye to their colleagues. No severance pay will be given.
