Konami seems to be planning further remakes for Silent Hill

The site Gematsu has just explained that this could be a translation error. As the plural is not clearly defined, Konami could just as well be referring to a single remake of Silent Hill as to several. The publisher will have to take the time to clarify its position.

While we currently have no news of the remake of Silent Hill 2, Konami may already be planning to relaunch other old entries in its survival horror franchise.
Indeed, in a statement made when revealing its financial results for the previous quarter, the firm clarified something very interesting about its plans.
"As for ongoing efforts, we are working diligently on Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, which faithfully recreates the story, characters, and game design of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the most beloved entries in the Metal Gear series, and updates its graphical style to modern graphics for the current generation, as well as remakes and completely new entries in the Silent Hill series [...]".
So, unless it's a mistake on Konami's part, we could one day be treated to other remakes of Silent Hill, in addition to the one already planned for the second game.
