After a short week's absence, our weekly column is back! Here are the games we recommend for a great weekend. Let's go!
Outpath
We'll start with an experimental game that requires you to collect resources and build things. You'll then have to build infrastructures, then buy other islands to expand. A kind of "Minecraft-like" game. There's a free demo if you want to get a taste.
Cattails: Wildwood Story
An RPG that puts you in the shoes of a cat! That's the refreshingly cute cocktail on offer in Cattails: Wildwood Story. You'll have to manage a colony, collect treasure, hunt, defend your home and much more.
World of Horror
Turn-based combat awaits you in this horrific roguelite. The visuals are very minimalist and eerie, all in black and white only. You get 20 investigations, 14 playable characters and numerous puzzles to enjoy.
Laika: Aged Through Blood
At the controls of a coyote mother on a motorcycle, this game invites us into its post-apocalyptic universe. It's a magnificent Metroidvania, telling a story of revenge. The whole thing is really aesthetically pleasing.
Lakeview Cabin 2
We close with a 2D horror game that's perfect for Halloween. Inspired by several films in the genre, it is peppered with puzzles that prove to be a great challenge.
