The catastrophic Skull Island: Rise of Kong was developed over just one year

The latest game based on the King Kong license did create quite a buzz... but it wasn't for the right reasons at all. Short, ugly and filled to the brim with bugs, Skull Island: Rise of Kong was received with all kinds of complaints.

It seems the lack of polish was due to the extremely short production time. In a statement to The Verge, an anonymous employee of the IguanaBee studio explained that development took just one year. It ran from June 2022 to the same month this year. An extremely short work period imposed by publisher GameMill Entertainment.
