Phil Spencer says future of videogames is tied to smartphone titles
, by Quentin
A short while ago, Phil Spencer discussed a variety of topics on the official Xbox podcast. Among them, he spent a few minutes talking about the growing success of mobile games.
He said we'd have to find a way to stay relevant on the biggest platform, which is mobile gaming. According to him, it's not possible to envisage the future without being present on the platform where the majority of the population plays.
He concluded by saying, however, that he has no intention of turning all Xbox franchises into mobile games, nor of making everything free.
