Hiroyuki Jinnai says there could be room for a Detective Pikachu spin-off

In an interview with Famitsu, Creatures Inc. managing director Hiroyuki Jinnai said that The Return of Detective Pikachu brings to a close the storyline begun in 2016 on the 3DS console.

However, he added that the team is not ruling out the possibility of a spin-off. Without being able to make any promises, he concluded by mentioning that if the new game is well received and there is strong demand, then there will be room for this new title.
