Nintendo has no plans to lower the price of its Switch

The Nintendo Switch has hardly ever seen its price drop since its debut in March 2017. Instead, the Japanese manufacturer has preferred to introduce other more or less expensive models with the Switch OLED and the Switch Lite. And if we believe the recent statements of Shuntaro Furukawa, the CEO of Nintendo, prices will not move at all.
The main person concerned has thus made the following statement. "As we continue the Nintendo Switch business in the long term, we have tried to preserve the value and prices of hardware and software as much as possible. We do not think that this policy should be changed at this stage". A roundabout way of saying that the console will not see its price drop in the near future.
