Super Mario Bros. Wonder charms the whole world and scores top marks

The moustachioed plumber has surpassed even Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The reviews for the eagerly-awaited Super Mario Bros. Wonder are in, and it's safe to say that Nintendo has just delivered yet another classic!

At the time of writing, the new Switch-exclusive Mario has an average score of 93% on Metacritic (for 75 reviews). OpenCritic, meanwhile, boasts an impressive 92% (on 36 reviews).

Reviewers applauded this episode's gargantuan amounts of content, great production values, ultra-fun co-op and perfectly balanced difficulty. Really, the only real drawback is the low number of bosses.
