Microsoft promises to respectfully revisit some Activision Blizzard licenses
, by Thibaut
While Call of Duty, Diablo and World of Warcraft are Activision Blizzard's mainstays at the moment, Microsoft intends to revive a number of more or less forgotten franchises.
Xbox CEO Phil Spencer has clearly expressed his desire to "revisit" certain franchises owned by the publisher.
"And I want to make sure that when we’re going back and visiting something, that we do it with our complete ability, a motivated team that wants to go work on something and make a difference, not just create something for financial gain, or create something for a PR announcement and not deliver on the product-."
Spencer also stated that these licenses will be treated with "the respect they deserve".
