No patch or internet connection required to play Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Just a few more hours to go before the release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. In preparation for the launch, Insomniac Games has issued a press release informing fans of quite an important detail.

The studio asserts that the game does not require a permanent Internet connection, or even the installation of an update, to function properly. Despite this, Insomniac invites users to download patch 1.001.002, which will be available on October 20.

This update will bring improvements to the introductory sequence and to the title as a whole.
