Sony responds to hacking rumors by saying it is investigating the situation

As reported yesterday, a group of hackers claimed to have hacked all Sony systems, and threatened to sell the data obtained on the deep web.

The Japanese company has now responded to IGN, stating: "We are currently investigating the situation, and have no further comment at this time."

So we still don't know whether the attack actually took place, or not.
