Starfield surpasses Skyrim's simultaneous player record on Steam

Less than a week after its official release, Starfield has already shattered an iconic record. Indeed, Bethesda Game Studios' RPG has surpassed the number of concurrent players achieved by Skyrim on Steam.

According to SteamDB, the fifth entry in The Elder Scrolls reached a maximum of 287,411 concurrent users since its release. For its part, Starfield recently reached 330,723 players.

We can therefore assume that Bethesda's title is off to a roaring start in terms of sales on Valve's store.
