Starfield is a hit with the press

The jury is out on Bethesda Game Studios' latest RPG. Starfield certainly hasn't disappointed, as the scores have been pretty high to say the least.

At the time of writing, the OpenCritic aggregator gives it an average of 88% from over ninety reviews. Meanwhile, Metacritic reports an average of 87% for the Xbox Series version and 88% on PC.

While the formula proposed by Starfield is far from revolutionary, those who have already played it appreciated its endless content, great art direction, cool exploration, well-developed lore and overall polish.
