We now know the release date of the next major expansion for Destiny 2. "The Final Shape" will be available on February 27, 2024 on all platforms.
During its showcase, Bungie released a spectacular trailer giving us the story context for this new chapter.
A second video has also been posted by the American studio, this time presenting the content of the "Season of the Witch".
Just after showing us Marathon, Bungie is already going back to Destiny 2 with totally new content. The American studio will present Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate on May 6, 2025 at 5 p.m. London time. We'll also get a sneak preview of next year's content for Destiny 2.
Almost every year since Destiny was released, Bungie has released a paid expansion for the franchise. In 2024, the American studio rolled out The Final Shape, a high-quality expansion that was well received by the community. We've been enjoying Destiny 2: The Final Shape on all platforms this week. However, Bungie has new content yet to come for its multiplayer FPS. On June 10, at 4 p.m. London time, Bungie will broadcast a special program on YouTube featuring what's to come to Destiny 2 over the year.
