Microsoft discontinues Kinect
, by Thibaut
Although Kinect was originally an innovation regularly promoted by Microsoft, it quickly fell into oblivion. This was due to the catastrophic launch of the Xbox One, which forced the manufacturer to sell its console without the famous camera.
Over time, other models, generally dedicated to professionals, were released. Today, we learn that the latest version, called Azure Kinect, will no longer be produced and the camera will be withdrawn from sale come October.
