The Last of Us whorunner would like to make four seasons

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Craig Mazin spoke about the future of The Last of Us series.

The showrunner seems to be in line with the vision of Neil Druckmann, co-president of Naughty Dog, who said he wanted to produce four seasons.

"You never know. It can end up being three or five. But four seems like a good number. Some seasons, because of the story we’re telling, will need fewer episodes and some will need more", said Mazin.
