Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 servers are temporarily shut down due to security concerns

Temporarily shut down several days ago “due to a server issue”, the online features of Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 may not be back anytime soon.

FromSoftware revealed that it had discovered "sectury vulnerability of game servers" on the servers, which were shut down as a precaution on October 30 across all platforms. No date has yet been given for when service will resume. The Japanese studio has apologized for the inconvenience.
