Remedy says CONTROL Resonant is a "defining milestone for the company"
, by Thibaut
Remedy Entertainment has just released its financial results for the third quarter of 2026. This was a significant period for the Finnish company thanks to the launch of CONTROL Resonant on September 24.
As a result, the company’s revenue surged 226% to 39.6 million euros. From January through September 2026, revenue totaled 62.9 million euros (+48.2%). But beyond the numbers, it is, of course, the game’s success that interests us most.
According to CEO Jean-Charles Gaudechon, CONTROL Resonant represents a "defining milestone for the company." It sold over one million copies in three weeks, becoming the fastest-selling title in the studio’s history. Note that the physical edition released on October 15, 2026, is not included in these results.
Moving forward, Remedy plans to build on the CONTROL and Alan Wake franchises. The developer will self-publish its future games and aims "to become a highly regarded creative studio with sustainable, significant commercial success."
