Bloodborne is still selling very well more than ten years after its release

It probably hasn’t escaped anyone’s notice, but Sony still has no plans to release a remastered version of Bloodborne. Launched in March 2015 as a PS4 exclusive, the FromSoftware title has never been ported to other platforms.

According to Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics, the game has now sold 10.4 million copies worldwide. It has reportedly generated $317 million in revenue over nearly 12 years. In 2026 alone, an additional 251,000 copies were sold. Finally, 5.7 million players have tried Bloodborne through their PlayStation Plus subscription.

It remains to be seen whether this will finally prompt PlayStation to officially announce a remaster or a remake.
