Two Honkai: Star Rail leakers have been ordered to pay $150,000

Warning to all leakers: miHoYo takes data leaks very seriously. In fact, the Chinese company has successfully sued two individuals who were posting content from Honkai: Star Rail.

One of the users accessed test data and then shared tutorials showing other players how to access that information themselves. The second user revealed characters, abilities, and gameplay clips that miHoYo had not yet disclosed.

The court ruled in favor of the company, ordering the two defendants to jointly pay one million yuan (approximately $150,000) in damages. They must also stop leaking information and issue a public apology for 30 consecutive days.
