Blizzard accused of pushing Diablo IV Premium Battle Pass purchases

Season 1 of Diablo IV is now available, but its launch clearly hasn't gone all that well. Today, it's the Battle Pass that's come under fire...

Indeed, streamer Rurikhan accuses Blizzard of deliberately placing the Battle Pass Premium purchase button close to the section allowing you to follow the Season Journey. As a result, Rurikhan has inadvertently acquired the Battle Pass, since the game's cursor is positioned over the purchase validation box by default.

Blizzard has reacted quickly and states that it has "a temporary solution" in order to avoid activating the Battle Pass Premium by default.
