A trailer for Mass Effect Universe, the game canceled following BioWare's closure, appears to have leaked

Electronic Arts’ closure of BioWare this week resulted in the cancellation of the Mass Effect game that was in development. Announced in December 2020 at The Game Awards, the project had never really gotten off the ground.
However, just a few hours after these sad announcements, the trailer for a game titled Mass Effect: Universe leaked on Reddit. The video was apparently ready for release. It used the game’s engine and pre-production assets. It consists solely of cutscenes and does not feature any gameplay. The trailer ends with a vague coming soon, that, unfortunately, will never come to pass.
It should be noted that the trailer has not yet been formally verified by Reddit moderators. However, Jason Schreier, a reporter at Bloomberg, claims that the video is indeed real.
