Pokémon Center stores are extremely popular in Japan. There are 23 of them in the country, and two more in Asia (in Shanghai and Taipei). Now, The Pokémon Company plans to expand beyond Asia.
The company has just announced that a Pokémon Store will open in London before 2029. It will be a permanent store offering exclusive merchandise and unique experiences. This location, billed as the “ultimate destination” for fans of the franchise, does not yet have an exact address.
Gaku Susai, Director of Products and Experience at The Pokémon Company International, issued a statement.
"We are always exploring new opportunities that help us create unique and memorable experiences for our fans. This new London store will give visitors the chance to step into the world of Pokémon, whether they’re discovering the brand for the first time or have been Trainers for years.
We hope it becomes a place where everyone can come together, feel like part of a community and enjoy the magic of Pokémon in a whole new way."
