System update 26.07-14.20.00 for PS5 is available now
, by Thibaut
Sony has released a new system update for the PS5. While the manufacturer obviously isn’t saying so outright, this patch may be intended to fix the console’s latest jailbreak.
In any case, this 26.07-14.20.00 update is about 1.26 GB and simply improves the messaging and usability of certain screens. It’s available for download now.
There’s also speculation that this firmware update is related to the requirements for running GTA VI, though this has yet to be confirmed.
