There is a jailbreak for the PS5 latest firmware (14.10) already
, by Thibaut
Sony likely thought it had contained the PS5 jailbreak thanks to the system update rolled out in early October. Unfortunately for the Japanese manufacturer, a vulnerability appears to have already been discovered.
A homebrew developer by the name Gezine claims to have bypassed the protections. However, there are currently two major limitations. First, it is currently impossible to create and run game saves. Additionally, the developer has chosen not to release the files needed to perform the jailbreak, most likely to prevent Sony from rushing out yet another patch in the wake of this discovery.
Some users are asking that nothing be released before the November 19 release of GTA VI, surely so they can get Rockstar0s game using the jailbreak. But there’s still a long way to go.
