Directive 8020 now features online multiplayer

Supermassive Games has released a free update for Directive 8020 that adds an online multiplayer mode. This means the sci-fi survival horror game can now be played cooperatively by multiple players on separate screens.

Up to five players can now experience the story of Directive 8020 together. Each player takes on the role of a different crew member of the Cassiopeia. There's another mode that has players set a fixed time limit, after which one player takes control of the game’s sole character.

Add to that all-new customization options (space suits, outfits, etc.) and 13 additional items scattered throughout the game that offer a glimpse into a potential future.
